Carmen Cañadas

Self-taught with 23 years of experience in education. Trained in Gestalt therapy, art therapy, emotional intelligence, dyslexia, and ADHD. Co-founder of the educational project Arimunani. Promoter of the Joanart Calvià artistic project in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Advocate for artistic best practices in the Calvià City Council. Co-founder of the artistic collective Ou Vert.

Daughter of artists and the second of four siblings, she grew up surrounded by paint pots and books. With a self-taught background and interests in research, psychology, philosophy, and education, she has always been a painter by vocation. At fourteen, she started doing commissioned portraits, and at sixteen, she held her first painting exhibition. For the past twenty-seven years, she has also been dedicated to teaching, both in formal education and through workshops.
