My beginnings in art date back to 1976 when I trained in various workshops with well-known artists from Mallorca. Between 1985 and 1998, I combined my work as a psychologist with painting until circumstances led me to dedicate myself exclusively to the latter. My pictorial style began as figurative, but over time it has evolved towards abstraction, using new techniques. I draw my inspiration mainly from nature, the sea, stones, and earth, in all their textures, forms, and states, which serves as the thread that connects my work.

I combine different techniques that range from the use of acrylics, oils, and pastels, to various materials like sands, cements, natural pigments, and diverse oxides, allowing me to create textured paintings with a rich chromatic diversity. I would highlight one of my latest series, "From the Air," in which I project my aerial view of nature. Observing from above the sea and coastline, their waves and breaks, the land, or the clouds, and how they converge and interact, enables me to capture a singular and personal perspective on canvas.

The series "Stones" and "Fossils" arise from my interest and curiosity about their forms and the deformations produced over time, as well as their chromatic diversity. "Salt," on the other hand, reflects intimate sensations from my childhood through my contact with the sea. In my work, I strive to convey the vital need to safeguard nature, its values, and its beauty.
