Cristina Vinyals

With a decade-long career in architecture and interior design, Vinyals decided to pursue her passion for art. This emerging artist constantly experiments and draws inspiration from the traditional Mallorcan technique of blown glass and its relationship with construction. She creates works from recycled glass and handmade natural pigments made from stones, earth, or clays. Vinyals's pieces are a testament to her love for art and nature. Recognizable for her unique style, these works encapsulate a distinct visual language characterized by reflections, textures, and hues that shift according to the light's incidence.

Thanks to the cracks in her mosaic, her pieces convey both the imperfection and fragility of nature, as well as its resilience and capacity to recover. In glass, she has discovered a duality that is also present in nature: the relationship between fragility and strength.
