Total Transparency
Shipping and Return Policy
At Gallery Can Boni, we believe that acquiring a work of art is a unique experience, and we want to ensure that every step of the process, from purchase to delivery, is clear and transparent. Our shipping and return policies are designed to provide you with peace of mind while maintaining the security of the purchased artworks.
Shipping
Free Shipping within the European Union (EU):
Gallery Can Boni offers completely free shipping for any purchase made within the European Union. This includes transportation from our facilities to your doorstep, at no additional cost to the customer.
Exceptions: The only costs that Gallery Can Boni does not cover are those associated with customs duties, local taxes, or other government charges in applicable countries, even if those countries belong to the EU. These expenses are the customer's responsibility and will be communicated in advance if they apply.
Shipping Outside the European Union:
For customers outside the EU, we also offer the possibility of completely free shipping, provided that the purchase meets certain minimum requirements:
For shipments to North America and South America, shipping will be free if the total purchase amount is equal to or greater than €14,000 (or its equivalent in local currency).
For shipments to Asia, Africa, and Oceania, shipping will be free if the total purchase value is equal to or greater than €16,000 (or its equivalent in local currency).
If these minimums are not met, shipping costs will be calculated and communicated to the customer before confirming the purchase. In any case, we will always do our best to reduce transportation costs for our international customers.
Shipping Times:
Mixed Media Works (including crystal resins and cutting-edge materials): For customers outside of Europe who have purchased mixed media works, please allow approximately 4 weeks for shipping. We take pride in providing a custom wooden crate to ensure the safe transport of your artwork. This extra care and attention to packaging may contribute to a slightly longer shipping time. Rest assured, we prioritize the safety and integrity of your purchase during transit.
Acrylic on Canvas and Paper: For customers outside of Europe who have purchased acrylic works on canvas or paper, please anticipate around 2 weeks for shipping. While we strive to handle these items with the same care, the packaging requirements are typically less complex than those for mixed media works. Therefore, the shipping process for these items usually takes less time.
Shipping Within Europe: Customers within Europe can expect their orders to arrive approximately 1 week earlier than the estimated shipping times mentioned above. This means that for mixed media works, shipping may take around 3 weeks, while acrylic works on canvas and paper can arrive in about 1 week.
Order Tracking:
We understand the importance of tracking your order and monitoring its progress. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and instructions on how to track your package. This will allow you to stay informed about the whereabouts of your artwork throughout the shipping process.
Additional Costs:
If additional costs arise during the delivery process (such as local taxes, import duties, or other charges not directly related to standard shipping), these will be the customer's responsibility. We will inform you of these costs in advance whenever possible.
Returns
Trial Period:
At Gallery Can Boni, we understand that buying art remotely can generate doubts. Therefore, all artworks purchased remotely have a trial period of 15 days from the date of receipt. During this time, the customer can assess the artwork in their personal environment and decide whether to keep it.
Strict Conditions for Returns:
If the customer decides to return the artwork within the trial period, the following strict conditions must be met for the return to be accepted:
The artwork must be returned in its original packaging, including all protective materials used in shipping.
If the original packaging has suffered any damage or deterioration, the customer must replace it with identical packaging or one that meets exactly the same characteristics in terms of protection, durability, and security.
The same shipping box used for the initial shipment must be used for the return unless it has been damaged. In that case, it must be replaced with a box of the same dimensions and quality. Failure to comply with this condition will void the possibility of return.
The customer must obtain and provide proof of a transportation insurance policy that covers the full value of the artwork from the moment it leaves the customer’s premises until its arrival at Gallery Can Boni. This insurance is mandatory and must be arranged through a recognized insurance company.
The return will only be accepted if the artwork arrives in perfect condition, with no visible damage or signs of use. Any deterioration, even minor, to the artwork or its associated elements (such as frames, supports, etc.) could result in the denial of the return or a deduction from the corresponding refund.
To complete the return process, the artwork must be received and signed for by an authorized representative of Gallery Can Boni, who will verify its condition and confirm whether it meets all conditions for a refund.
Costs Associated with Returns:
All expenses related to the return of the artwork, including shipping costs, additional packaging if necessary, and transportation insurance, will be borne by the customer.
If the return does not meet any of the stipulated conditions, Gallery Can Boni reserves the right to reject the return or apply a fee for restoration, damages, or non-compliance with packaging conditions.
Damage During the Return Shipment:
If any damage occurs to the artwork during the return process, Gallery Can Boni will not be held responsible. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the packaging and insurance cover all potential risks.
If the artwork arrives at our facilities damaged, Gallery Can Boni reserves the right not to proceed with the refund or to apply deductions based on the extent of the damages.
Payment Options
Accepted Currencies:
We accept payments in euros and other local currencies depending on the customer's country. For those who prefer not to transact in euros, we offer the option to pay in the local currency as long as it is managed via bank transfer.
Payment Methods:
We accept payments via:
Direct bank transfer.
PayPal for payments in euros.
Internationally recognized credit and debit cards.
In specific cases, we accept payments in other currencies as long as these are made via bank transfer.
Any costs associated with currency conversion or international transfers will be the responsibility of the customer. To facilitate the process, we will provide all necessary information to make the payment quickly and easily.
